Gallipoli, in these photos taken by Carmine Pisanello, on a particularly ugly day, still succeeds to be wonderful! The demonstration that the pearl of Jonio knows no seasons; Of course summer gives the best of it but I would highly recommend to everyone to come and visit this jewel even when tourism moves on the snowy peaks of the North!
